Our line of high throughput modular Raman spectrometers from Wasatch Photonics delivers the best price to performance on the market, from the visible through NIR. Designed with proprietary volume phase holographic gratings in an f/1.3 optical bench, these spectrometers allow you to capture and keep more photons to achieve better S:N at the sample. The back-thinned CCD detector is optionally available with a TEC (thermo-electric cooler) for enhanced sensitivity. Bluetooth communication is also available as an option, while you can choose from a fibre-couple or free-space input. Wasatch can also configure a complete Raman spectroscopy solution perfectly tailored to your research or OEM application. We offer fibre coupled and free space designs optimised for wavelengths from 405-1550nm. Systems can include spectrometer, laser, probes and sampling optics. Wasatch supplies Dash Software, a platform developed specifically for data acquisition. Dash is able to continuously log data or take spectra individually to export for quantitative analysis. It is designed specifically to interface to existing software platforms or a custom software platform. Also included are software development kits (SDK’s) to enable development of software for specific platforms.
Dash software has been tested on Windows 7, Vista, XP and to a limited extent, XP embedded. While Windows 7, Vista and XP Service Pack 2 provide all of the required libraries for Dash functionality, certain XP embedded installations will require the installation of MS Visual Studio 2008 runtimes and other libraries. Please consult your embedded system build documentation for details on how to install these libraries. The best user experience comes with a Windows 7 64-bit system with an Intel i7 processor and at least 2GB of RAM.
