Flicker Photometers

Photometers measure the “power” of visible light emitted from a light source, scaled to the standard CIE photopic observer function. A flicker photometer is a specialised, high speed illuminance or luminance meter that also detects potentially hazardous temporal variations in the output from light sources and displays.  Pro-Lite supplies flicker photometers from ILT, Labsphere, JETI and SSL Resource that can be used as standalone meters, or in the case of the Labsphere and SSL meters, incorporated into integrating sphere spectroradiometer or goniophotometer systems respectively. The ILT 710 flicker photometer is unique in that it doesn’t need to be operated from a computer – making it completely portable.
