Pro-Lite provides a variety of services to support customers working in photonics, lighting and remote sensing. For short-term requirements, we stock a range of calibrated light metrology products that are available for hire, including lux meters, colorimeters, spot luminance meters and spot spectroradiometers. We also rent reflectance and emittance measurement instruments.

In partnership with Labsphere, we provide a bespoke service for applying barium sulphate and other diffuse reflectance coating to customer-supplied materials.

We maintain an ISO 17025 accredited reflectance metrology laboratory with UV-VIS-NIR spectrophotometers which provides certified measurements of reflectance and transmittance (total hemispheric, diffuse-only, specular-only & total reflectance versus angle) according to DIN 5036. Recalibration of Labsphere, SphereOptics and third-party reflectance standards and targets is also of course provided. In addition, we can measure reflective or transmissive scatter (BRDF & BTDF) using our scatterometers at various visible and IR wavelengths.

Pro-Lite also holds regular professional training workshops in the areas of laser safety (laser safety awareness and laser safety officer training), in light metrology (radiometry and photometry) and in photobiological safety (with reference to EN 62471). Workshops are either held remotely via video conferencing or we can deliver bespoke training workshops on request at a customer’s facility.
