Perpetual License
Perpetual licenses include one year of Support. Maintaining current Support on your perpetual license allows you access to all upgrades and updates during the Support period, as well as access to our technical support team.
License Concurrency
Node-Locked License
Node-locked licenses can be installed on multiple computers, however activation is limited to one computer at a time. A user must deactivate the license before it can be reactivated on a different computer.
You may upgrade your node-locked license(s) to a floating license, if you have active support for your license, and you pay the difference in price.
Floating License
Floating Licenses are a flexible licensing option offered with all Imatest products starting with version 4.4. They allow each license to be automatically shared across multiple computers without the time-consuming process of deactivating and reactivating the software on each computer.
Each license code allows for a set number of concurrent uses (called “seats”) that can be shared automatically between any number of computers that have installed and activated Imatest software using the same license code. For example, a license purchased with four concurrent uses, or seats, and installed on ten different machines allows for four active users at one time.
Imatest Master Software
Used by hundreds of companies for developing and testing digital cameras and imaging systems, Imatest Master is Imatest’s most popular software product. It includes the full set of Imatest image quality tests and supports most standard test charts.

Imatest Industrial Testing (IT) Software
Imatest IT is a set of software components that allow for the integration of key module functionality into your custom testing programs. Quickly test products on the production line while maintaining quality standards. Manage multiple suppliers using one unbiased testing algorithm and catch quality issues earlier in your supply chain. This one-year Subscription License is eligible for quantity discounts when you purchase five or more IT subscriptions on one order.

Imatest IT includes an Application Programming Interface (API) that supports four different types of interfaces: C/C++ DLL, command line EXE, Python module, and .NET DLL. Each of the interfaces described below have the same functionality as the corresponding modules in Imatest Master and IS but operate without user intervention, making them suitable for integration with automated systems.
Although Imatest IT operates independently of Imatest Master, it is strongly recommended that IT users have at least one Master installation on site to support the process of defining execution parameters and default settings.
C/C++/.NET DLL (Dynamic Link Library) and Python Interfaces
The C/C++/.NET DLL and Python Interfaces are software libraries designed for integration with other software systems. The interfaces allow developers to access Imatest’s powerful analysis tools via calls to Imatest functions using a variety of languages and platforms.
The C/C++ DLL, Python, and .NET Interfaces feature not only the module libraries, but also extensive support documentation including detailed function definitions and sample code, as well as basic example programs that interface with each of the modules.
EXE (Executable) Interface
The EXE interface is a set of standalone programs initiated by DOS calls from the test system. The test system interacts with Imatest IT through files specified in the DOS command line: the primary inputs are an image file and an INI control file (created and saved by Imatest Master during setup). The output is data files in JSON, XML or CSV format. Figures can be saved if desired.
Imatest Ultimate Software
Imatest Ultimate combines the analysis suite of Imatest Master and the automated testing of Imatest IT. This enables engineers to refine their settings while they are integrating Imatest’s software library with their factory or lab control systems without having to deal with multiple licenses or computers. Imatest Ultimate offers our complete software capabilities within a single license.
