Laser safety curtains are a simple and flexible way to safely enclose lasers or laser areas and, for example, to build locks. laservision offers a number of different standard models for different power classes. Depending on the material, different sizes can be constructed from one piece or from several modules. These can be joined together using a variety of laser-safe joining methods. Custom fabrications are also possible.
Protective exposure limit (PEL) values according to EN 60825-4, or protection levels according to EN 12254, are available for the curtains so that they can be assigned to the corresponding applications.
Laser Safety Curtain SHELTER-Light
Lightweight and flexible curtain based on F1P01 fabric.
The single layer laser safety curtain SHELTER-Light (BC3.F1P01), based on our proven coated silicate fabric (F1P01) is suitable for low power laser applications. The stringing together of the individual curtain panels is ensured by means of Velcro/flap tape (standard) or other connectors (e.g. swivel connectors), so that even larger continuous curtains can be realized. The modular design has, among other things, the advantage that in case of damage only the damaged modules have to be replaced and not the complete shielding. The curtain is certified according to DIN EN 12254.

For high-power laser applications, the SHELTER-NG multilayer laser safety curtain (BC1.F1P01) can be used. This curtain is based on our proven, coated silicate fabric. The individual curtain panels are joined together by means of Velcro/flap tape (standard) or other connectors (e.g. swivel connectors), so that even larger continuous curtains can be realized. Similar to SHELTER NG but with additional antistatic sleeve.
The multi-layer laser safety curtain SHELTER-CR (BC6.F1P01) has a wipeable, disinfectable antistatic cover and is used similarly to SHELTER-NG in applications with high laser powers. Our proven coated silicate fabric is also used here. A special silicone arrow and groove tape can be used to connect the individual curtain panels, so that even larger continuous curtains can be realized. The modular design has, among other things, the advantage that in case of damage only the damaged modules have to be replaced and not the complete shielding. The curtain is certified according to EN 60825-4 and has tested protection levels according to EN 12254.

Laser Protection Roll-up for Mobile Laser Protection
The Roll-Up System from laservision consists of a practical stand and the proven laser protection curtain SHELTER-LIGHT, which is based on our proven, coated silicate fabric and is suitable for low-power applications. Several of the roll-up version with Velcro tape can be strung together with the roll-up connector. This allows larger contiguous partitions to be quickly set up, e.g. for maintenance purposes. Certification according to EN 12254 completes this system.
