The Spectral Evolution Leaf Clip is a specialised accessory designed for measuring leaf reflectance in ecological and agricultural studies. Its innovative design ensures accurate data collection while minimising damage to delicate samples.

The Leaf Clip features a remote light source, such as a 5-Watt Tungsten Halogen bulb, positioned away from the sample area to prevent heat damage. A fibre optic cable delivers light to the sample, ensuring consistent illumination. The clip includes a swivel head with a built-in white reference for calibration and a black background for target scans. It is ergonomically designed for single-handed operation and connects seamlessly to Spectral Evolution spectrometers via an SMA connection.
