Unlocking Hidden Details and Preserving Art with Advanced Imaging Technology
We are thrilled to announce that Pro-lite Technology has partnered with XpectralTek to bring the cutting-edge XpeCAM multispectral cameras to the field of art analysis. This collaboration marks a significant advancement in the way we study and preserve artworks, offering unparalleled insights into the materials and techniques used by artists throughout history.
A Three-Component Pack
The XpeCAM® Solution is a comprehensive package consisting of three main components:
XpeCAM® X02
The XpeCAM® X02 software offers both automatic (fast) acquisition mode from 400 nm to 1000 nm and manual acquisition mode from 350 nm to 1200 nm. It is possible to merge data acquired in automatic mode with data acquired in manual mode, providing flexibility and comprehensive analysis.
LAMPA
LAMPA is an all-in-one UV-VIS-IR illumination system dedicated to art conservation needs. It covers wavelengths from 360 nm to 1200 nm with lamps for the UV, VIS, and IR regions. The combination of the LAMPA MASTER and the LAMPA Satellite increases the illuminated area and improves illumination homogeneity.
XpeCAM® CLOUD
XpeCAM® CLOUD offers robust features for project management, automated data processing and analysis, pigments classification, spectral similarities, underlying image tools, automated reporting, and multilingual support. It ensures comprehensive data storage and much more.
Examples of Graphical Documents Analysis
Imagine if you could see more, see the invisible, access hidden information, and learn more with extra information. This is precisely what the XpeCAM® Solution from XpectralTEK offers. With imaging solutions that allow us to see beyond the human eye, we can learn from what was previously unseen.
- Nautic Chart: By switching from visible to ultraviolet wavelengths, previously unclear information becomes visible.
- Censored Images and Texts: Infrared analysis reveals what was hidden behind dark inks used for censorship.
- Historic Documents: Automated pigments classification and spectral similarities analysis provides detailed insights into the materials and techniques used.
- Working in the Field: The XpeCAM® Solution has been successfully used in various field applications, including digitally restoring censored texts, analysing books in libraries, and coupling with Raman microscopes for detailed document analysis.
