NEW SenS 1920 NIT’s Full HD SWIR Camera

NIT have just launched their first Full HD SWIR camera, the SenS1920. The Camera is designed for ease of use and integration, this combined with its resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, dynamic range of 64 dB, and a USB 3.0 for fast data transfer makes it ideal for capturing high quality images in the SWIR region 900-1700nm. The high resolution enables a better field of view for inspection of semiconductor or solar cell panels and will greatly improve imaging for Defence & Security applications with much improved detail and image sharpness.

NEW Blue Sun Uniform Source Stable Solar Spectrum

Labsphere have added the new Blue Sun LED source to their Helios uniform light sources. This provides the most stable solar spectrum enabling improved characterisation of hyperspectral, multispectral and other image sensors. Characterising and calibrating hyperspectral and multispectral imagers is critical in leveraging the highest level of performance from these remote sensing devices. This requires calibration under the same use-conditions they will see in operation.

Finding a consistent source with enough blue content has been a challenge – until now. The high power in the blue region is matched with high temporal stability, and a smooth visible spectrum for long-term testing that minimizes spectral mismatch.

Ultrabroadband FT Spectrometer and Low Light Level Hyperspectral Imager

TRICLOPS from Nireos is a compact and rapid scan VIS-NIR-SWIR-MIR spectrometer. With its unique and patented technology based on time-domain Fourier Transform detection, it can monitor the emission spectrum of light sources with extreme precision.

HERA from Nireos is an ultra-sensitive VIS-NIR (400-1000nm) global hyperspectral imager. Based upon a common-path interferometer with a large entrance aperture, the HERA provides high sensitivity combined with high resolution, making it ideal for low light fluorescence spectroscopy.

HERA can be customised for the SWIR band (900-1700nm) or extended SWIR (1200-2200nm).

NLIR S2050 MWIR Spectrometer

The NLIR S2050 MIR Spectrometer is based on a novel measurement scheme that upconverts the MIR light to near visible light. Silicon based near visible light detectors are far superior to MIR light detectors in terms of detectivity, speed and noise.

The NLIR upconversion technology therefore brings these attractive features, and the advantages that follow, to the MIR regime. The S 2050 spectrometer covers the wavelength range from 2.0 to 5.0um with spectral resolutions down t 2.5cm-1 and full spectrum readout rates up to 130kHz.

New Hyperspectral Cameras from Cubert

The ULTRIS XM represents the next generation in snapshot hyperspectral imaging covering the spectrum from 400 to 900 nm with a spatial resolution of 1 Megapixel. This technology provides clean hyperspectral images, right out of the box with a native image resolution of 1000 × 1000 spatial pixels with 51 spectral bands, resulting in 51 M spectra per frame. Additionally, a C-Mount adapter provides users with flexibility in selecting lenses based on their specific needs, or even mounting the camera on other optical systems such as microscopes.

Cubert Ultris SWIR 1 Based on hyperspectral light field camera technology, the ULTRIS SWIR 1 offers a versatile imaging solution with its broad wavelength range (980-1650 nm) within the Short-Wave Infrared region. The camera’s high-speed imaging of up to 80 Hz further ensures efficient capture of dynamic scenes. With its compact dimensions (30x30x85 mm), the ULTRIS SWIR 1 is ideal for space-limited applications in laboratories or field.

Wasatch Raman XS Series

Wasatch Photonics are revolutionizing handheld Raman spectrometers with an ultra-compact, battery-powered, field-deployable system with unprecedented sensitivity at a commercial sensor price point in volume. It combines high-NA optics, patented HD broadband gratings, and an uncooled CMOS camera into their most compact optical bench yet. The result is high sensitivity and rapid measurements in an ultralight, miniaturized, thermally stable engine.

Versatile Modular Spectrometers for UV-Vis Spectroscopy Applications

Avantes spectrometer Varius offers unparalleled versatility and flexibility for your measurements. By simply removing the connector cover and replacing the different sized slit, you can optimise your measurement performance like never before. With this innovative feature, you can easily adapt to different measurement scenarios and achieve the best possible results. Experience the power of effortless customisation with Avantes’ new connector coversystem.

The Varius is available in two variations – standard and industrial (OEM), optimised for the best performance in system integration.

Spectral Evolution Spectroradiometer Bundle

Portable and laboratory single-point spectroradiometers from Spectral Evolution provide full range measurements of reflectance, transmittance, radiance (up-welling) and irradiance (down-welling) in the range from 280-2500nm (UV-VIS-NIR-SWIR) for applications in remote sensing, ground truth hyperspectral imagery, radiometric transfer in the calibration of satellite instrumentation and verification of solar simulator performance classification.

The RS-3500 is a remote sensing spectroradiometer bundle that includes a fiber optic field portable remote sensing spectroradiometer plus all the accessories to match your application and budget.

Symetrie Hexapods: High Speeds and Accelerations for Demanding Dynamic Requirements

Motion hexapods are designed to provide dynamic motion.  Supporting payload capacities of up to 6 tonnes and providing accelerations of up to 1g, they can provide high precision trajectory tracking. They are often used for motion simulation applications as well as for the testing of sensors and antennae in the aerospace and automotive fields.

Positioning hexapods are specifically designed for precise alignment and handling requirements. They utilising high accuracy absolute encoders and for the accurate positioning of payloads up to 1500 kg.

Applications include the qualification of optical instrumentation, mirror adjustment on satellites and telescopes, metrology and inspection of components or devices, and many more aside.

Nanomotion Standard Shutters: Silent & Efficient

Rotary and Linear Shutters are used on a wide range of handheld and flight rated thermal imaging devices. Particularly with devices that operate in proximity to the body (head mounted, rifle mounted or hand-held), new requirements tend to incorporate a noise specification. From a military perspective, noise has become a critical issue as these shutters operate in areas where an enemy may be in close proximity.

Piezo Based Rotary & Linear Shutters for Non-Uniformity Correction excel at optimizing SWaP (Size, Weight & Power) while operating silently.

Reflectance Targets from Labsphere and SphereOptics

Pro-Lite offers a range of diffuse reflectance targets which are used to test and calibrate remote sensing instruments, spectroradiometers, image sensors and the LIDAR and ADAS sensors used in autonomous vehicle technology. Compared to glossy surfaces, diffuse reflectance targets provide for stable, consistent reflectance regardless of instrument alignment or illumination and viewing geometries.

Infrared Detectors from GPD

Pro-Lite supplies infrared detectors based upon Germanium (Ge) and Indium Gallium Arsenide (InGaAs) photodiodes that operate in the spectral range from 400 to 2600nm. Ge and InGaAs photodiodes are available in a variety of standard and specialist packages, including extended range two-colour detectors (combined with a silicon photodiode), as quadrant detectors, with InGaAs active areas as large as 1cm2 and as InGaAs avalanche photodiodes (APDs).

Nick, Preetesh and Russell look forward to meeting you in Edinburgh!
