Luminance Meters

Luminance photometers are often called “spot meters” because they measure the brightness of a spot on a light source or display. Tristimulus versions of our photometers tell you the colour (CIE chromaticity and correlated colour temperature, CCT in Kelvin) of the light source or display. Pro-Lite supplies luminance photometers and colorimeters from Konica Minolta, including a number of models available for short-term hire. Luminance measurements can also be performed using a spot spectroradiometer or using a 2D imaging photometer or colorimeter. For our range of JETI and Konica Minolta spectroradiometers that are configured for spectral radiance and luminance measurements, click here.  For our range of advanced 2D imaging photometers and colorimeters from Westboro Photonics, click here.
